MP Motz hosting Commons committee in Medicine Hat today

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A standing committee of the House of Commons is in Medicine Hat, looking to hear success stories from those who developed and initiated strategies to end homelessness in this community.
Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner MP Glen Motz is hosting the committee , which is holding public hearings on reducing poverty through a Poverty Reduction Strategy based on input from Canadians.
The committee will visit six Canadian cities, including Winnipeg and Vancouver, in addition to today’s visit to Medicine Hat.
The hearings are open to the public. Today’s session is at the Clarion Hotel from 8:30 to 11:45 am.
