Thank you to the Alberta government for putting rules on political funding amounts and PACs. I do not want Trump style politics in our province, as much as certain politics and the UCP are trying to bring that type of nasty politics here.

Every single time there is a news story in Alberta, it turns into an armchair politician fight. Lake Louise Resort guilty of cutting down trees? Let’s drag the NDP into it! Pipeline leaks? Let’s bash the UCP! The sad reality is that Hatters have been showing some pretty disgusting attitudes on Social Media for the past few years. You really don’t get a free pass for being a horrible person by blaming a politician or political party. I wish more people would take the time to consider that.

Regarding people at Christmas time; the time of year that we are supposed to be joyful and kind above any other… so many people change from being lovely and kind people to being monsters at the holiday time. Can we just remember that people working retail do not deserve your wrath? They are representing a company, but they are making minimum wage. They have absolutely no say in the policies of their company and certainly are not in charge of prices so don’t get mad at them if something is “expensive”. Many retail workers have multiple jobs too, so they have probably been working a 50-hour week already… So, before you act like a complete oaf, embarrassing yourself and everyone else who hears you, just stop. You have way more of a chance of getting what you want if you are kind and reasonable about it anyways.
