MEDICINE HAT, AB — Latest additions Elijah Brown and Bryan Lockner are blending well with the Orange and Black.

Since being acquired by the Medicine Hat Tigers ahead of the WHL Trade Deadline last week, the two 2000-born forwards have uncovered immediate chemistry on their respective lines.

Lockner, a former Regina Pat who was traded to the Tigers in a deal involving Max Gerlach’s move to Saskatoon, has scored a pair of goals for the Central Division leading Tabbies. He’s stocking up predominantly on the top line with captain Mark Rassell and assistant captain Jimmy Hamblin while Hayden Ostir mends a broken finger.

Meanwhile, Brown, who took a spot on the Seattle Thunderbirds suspension list for over two months before winding up a Tiger, has two assists while playing alongside Gary Haden and Jaeger White.

Tonight, the two are introduced to Tigers Faithful, as Medicine Hat plays host to the Kootenay ICE at the Canalta Centre (7:00 p.m.).

CHAT Sports caught up with the two wingers, who say the team welcomed them with open arms, and are excited to join the Tigers quest for a second straight division banner.
