How dull and unmotivated January feels. Not sure if it’s just the winter blues or an intense boredom for the mundanity of my everyday.

Of course I have to say how happy I am that the frigid temperatures have gone away for now. Let’s hope this snow melts quick!

Frustrated with people who tell others to shut up because they don’t want to hear other people’s opinions.  You may be tired of hearing people talk about taxes and that is fine.  You have the option of not reading or listening to comments on this topic.  I, however, don’t have the option to not pay taxes.  So, I am going to say something about it.  Not talking about issues and just being apathetic may be the Canadian way but does nothing to solve the problems we have in society.  This is part of the reason that our taxes are so high and there is so much waste.  People need to speak up and let the government know that we insist on accountability.  Taxes are not a right of the government, but you and I have the right (and a responsibility) to participate in our democracy.

What does it matter that the nurses are wearing makeup, fancy hair, or whatever? As long as they can do their job it should be fine. They work long hours, and put up with a lot of crap from people. They should be able to wear something comfortable and look good. What’s next? Trying to tell the nurses what donut to eat, or what kind of juice to drink at lunch?
