Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – Feb 12

Mad Hatter
“Avoid the roads unless absolutely necessary.” I work retail. Imagine they’d close their doors for employee safety.

Mad Hatter
To see garbage bins bylaws not adhered too, and bylaw does nothing to change it. Bylaw can’t possibly not see these bins stored on roads or not rolled back.

Mad Hatter
Mad that someone would selfishly drive impaired when the roads are THIS bad! Disgusting that the emergency crews are now going to have to deal with this nonsense on top of their other duties they are well needed for.

Mad Hatter
Got latest utility bill, admin costs are outrageous! There should be a way to reduce these costs, bimonthly bills? Charge for paper bills.

Mad Hatter
In the extremely dangerous weather conditions it’s pretty disgusting to see taxi drivers acting so reckless. Tailgating me because I am going slower than the speed limit? Are you aware there is so much snow my little car keeps getting dragged around the snow ridges? Like, as if I’d be calling your cab company after that. #UBER

Mad Hatter
Corner lot homeowners don’t shovel around the corner to end of their property.  It is still sidewalk you are responsible for.

Happy Hatter
To whoever has plowed the sidewalks on Braemar a few times this winter after heavy snowfalls, thank you is not enough!  It’s been a long, hard week and after “Snowmageddon” I was dreading coming home to shovel.

Mad Hatter
Why is the term curbside recycling used, when it will actually be alongside garbage bins in the back alley? The term has caused much misunderstanding, confusion and upset.

Mad Hatter
A certain lawyer uses contingency fee agreements in Family Law cases which is prohibited in most provinces for a good reason. It is time for Alberta to wake up and regulate lawyers.

Mad Hatter
Old Safeway on crescent heights has stayed empty for years, seems no one wants to either rip it down or build there.  Doesn’t this part of the city deserve a bit more shopping?
