Three Rattlers named to ACAC All-Conference Teams

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Three members of the Medicine Hat College Rattlers volleyball teams have been named to the ACAC All Conference Team.

During the ACAC Awards banquet Wednesday night, Amber Stigter and Shaya Suchy were named to the women’s All-Conference team, while Brodie Dolter was named to the men’s All-Conference Team.

Suchy, who played libero, finished the season with a league leading 336 digs. She also recorded 19 assists. Stigter, an outside hitter, finished the season with 286 kills, enough for third in the ACAC

Dolter, whose Rattlers are hosting the ACAC men’s volleyball championship this week, finished the season with 133 kills as a middle blocker. Although the recognition is an honour, Dolter is focused on winning at Provincials.

“It’s just an individual award, it’s obviously pretty special but … I don’t know it’s not a medal so it’s a little different right. It doesn’t really matter if we don’t win anything this weekend,” Dolter says.
