Tigers forward Chyzowski listed 95th in NHL Draft Rankings

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A member of the Medicine Hat Tigers has made a large jump in the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings ahead of the 2018 NHL Draft.

According to the most recent numbers released Monday, Ryan Chyzowski is currently ranked 95th on the list of North American skaters. He is the only member of the Medicine Hat Tigers ranked this year.

A previous version of the list had Chyzowski ranked 160th.

During 72 games this season, the Kamloops, B.C. winger scored a career-high 52 points, notching 21 goals and 31 assists.

Andrei Svechnikov of the OHL’s Barrie Colts is currently ranked first overall in the rankings, followed by Boston University’s Brady Tkachuk and Filip Zadina of the QMJHL’s Halifax Mooseheads.

Ty Smith of the Spokane Chiefs is the highest-ranked WHL player on this list, at 14th.

The draft gets underway in Dallas on June 22.
