Poor Highway 1 conditions near Swift Current

SWIFT CURRENT, SK. –  If you plan on travelling near Swift Current, you may want to prepare yourself for a worst case scenario or rethink your plans.

Swift Current Rural RCMP are recommending that people do not drive on Highway 1 west of Swift Current.
Reports out of Swift have said that motrists are having issues with blowing snow and icy road conditions.

The Government of Saskatchewan Highway Hotline has issued a description on this portion of Highway 1 saying “Travel is not recommended.”
